Our custom made curtain tie backs are made to fit your drapes exactly the way you want - tight or loose, with your choice of tail style.
Our drape ties come in pairs and are made from 5oz vegetable tanned leather, cut 1.5 inches wide, with 3.5 inch tails (the material beyond the button stud). A solid brass button stud fits snugly and easily into the button hole for a firm grip on the fabric, and lends a sophisticated yet modern touch to your windows treatments while being light on the planet.
You have a choice of three different tail styles, simply input your preference along with your measurements when checking out.
HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER
You will receive a pair of drape ties - for every order you place you will receive two drape ties. You will be asked for the following information when you add this item to your cart:
Tail Style: see the last two images for the available styles.
Measurement: Simply measure around your gathered curtain with a seamstress tape. If you don't have a seamstress tape, simply use a strip of paper or string that doesn't have any stretch, and mark the spot where your ends cross over - then measure the length of the paper or string from one end up to the spot where you made your mark.
HOW WILL THIS ITEM SHIP AND BE PACKAGED?
These will ship within 3 business days, using minimalist recyclable packaging in paper and cardboard. We pay for shipping in Canada and the USA! Insurance coverage and tracking included. You will have the option to upgrade to a faster shipping method at checkout.
HOW DO I CARE FOR THIS ITEM?
Handle your curtain ties with dry, clean hands. If needed, a leather cleaner can be used to remove dirt.
HOW WAS THIS ITEM MADE?
These curtain ties are made from 5oz vegetable tanned leather (the pinky toned leather). We sun tan the leather in our shop, though it will continue to deepen in hue with time. We hand cut the straps, punch the holes and trim the edges with a surgical blade before attaching the solid brass button stud.
This item was made by our own hands in our studio, located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ and Omàmìwininìwag (Algonquin).
